The images were first published by a Reddit user with the nickname ZaayKoZ, and later confirmed by other sources, including insider Misaka_Mikoto_01. The images display various cosmetic soldier skins from different factions.

Unlike the bright and flashy costumes typical of games like Fortnite or the latest Call of Duty installments, these designs stay true to the franchise's military roots—with desert camouflage, ghillie suits, and realistic tactical gear.

The leak appeared just days before the game's official multiplayer announcement scheduled for July 31, sparking active discussions in the gaming community. Although EA and Battlefield Studios have yet to confirm the authenticity of the skins, fans hope that the realistic style indicates a return to the authenticity for which the series is valued—especially after the controversial reception of Battlefield 2042.
