Phasmophobia – 2025 updates roadmap announced

Kinetic Games developers have announced their intentions for the development of the cooperative psychological horror game Phasmophobia in 2025. The updates they have in store feature the significant overhaul of existing maps, additional ghost-hunting equipment, seasonal events, and the addition of a new map. In particular, it is intended to launch the Chronicle update, which will change the way evidence is collected through the removal of the Photos tab and its replacement with the Media tab. This will allow players to record different types of media, such as photos, videos, and audio recordings, which will improve the process of collecting evidence and provide additional rewards for unique records.

Character updates are also on the way, allowing players to further customize their avatars. A new small map similar to the existing houses will also be added in 2025, along with significant updates to the Bleasdale and Grafton farmhouses. Seasonal Easter and Halloween events were also promised by the devs, along with sneak peeks at 2026 updates, including Horror 2.0.
