Limbus Company has released a major content update that adds a new high-level Identity, expanded story chapters, a new battle pass, and a range of improvements and fixes. Scheduled maintenance took place from 10:00 to 12:00 Korean Standard Time (KST), during which players were advised to refrain from playing and making purchases to avoid data loss.

Main Additions: New Identity and Packs

The key highlight of the update is the introduction of the 6th season identity: Heishou Pack – Mao Branch Adept Faust, which has an increased drop rate during the new Target Extraction event running from May 22 to June 5. This ★★★ identity is also added to the general pool of available characters for extraction.

The update is accompanied by two time-limited packs:

• Target Extraction Pack (₩33,000 / $21.99 / ¥3,000): includes 4 Decaextraction tickets, available for purchase only once per account.
• Identity Growth Pack (₩33,000 / $21.99 / ¥3,000): contains one Uptie upgrade module and a total of 90 Identity training tickets.

Both packs are available from May 22 (from 12:00 KST) to June 5 (until 10:00 KST).

The 6th season content continues with Canto 8 – Part 2 of the main story and Zàng Huǎ Yín – Part 2 of the Limbus Pass battle pass. Players who complete stages 8-20 will unlock EXP Luxcavation #8 — a new resource acquisition mode with rotating stages depending on attack type (slash, pierce, blunt), each offering a first-clear reward and the option to skip after unlocking.

Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Improvements

A number of critical fixes have been applied, including:

• Clear distinction between paid and free Lunacy in packs.
• Improved display of the “Power Up” effect for the E.G.O gift "Cigarette Holder."
• Fixes for issues with story display, skill filtering, interface elements, etc.
• Localization fixes for Japanese and English versions — inaccurate translations, missing visual elements in Canto 8.

Compensation and Technical Notes

Players whose accounts were created before 10:00, May 29, 2025 (KST), will receive 300 Lunacy as compensation for the maintenance. The gift can be claimed via the in-game mailbox until May 29.

Developers recommend updating the game client through the appropriate store (Google Play, App Store, or Steam) and not interrupting resource downloads to avoid errors. Players with guest accounts are advised to link their account to a platform to prevent data loss.
