Where to Find Emil in Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade has several DLCs that bring a lot of interesting content, including cosmetic items that enhance the collection of skins for EVE and more. One of the DLCs is dedicated to NieR: Automata and adds the wandering merchant Emil, from whom you can purchase many intriguing items. Read on to find out where to find Emil and how to stop him!

Who Emil Is and What He Sells

Emil makes a cameo appearance as a wandering merchant from NieR: Automata, selling exclusive cosmetic items in exchange for a special collectible currency called Stellar Tears.

Among the goods are costumes, accessories, and hairstyles based on characters from NieR: Automata, including 2B, 9S, and A2. You can also find items for the drone and even one for Adam. Once you purchase everything he offers, Emil will disappear from the game forever.

List of items Emil sells in Stellar Blade:

  • YoRHa No.2 Type B Uniform (2B costume for EVE)
  • YoRHa Uniform 1 (general YoRHa uniform for EVE)
  • YoRHa Unofficial Ceremonial Attire (ceremonial attire for EVE)
  • YoRHa Type A No2 Uniform (A2 costume for EVE)
  • Pod 042 Pack (Pod 042 skin for the drone)
  • Battle Goggles (YoRHa band for EVE)
  • Emil's Head (Emil's head for Adam)
  • YoRHa No.9 Type S Uniform (9S costume for Lily)
  • YoRHa No.2 Type B Style (2B hairstyle for EVE)
  • White Fox Mask Style (2B hairstyle with fox mask for EVE)

Emil's Location in Stellar Blade

Emil can be found in two main regions: Wasteland and Great Desert. He doesn't have a fixed spawn point, but some locations are more reliable than others. In Wasteland, it's most convenient to start from Junkyard Supply Camp. After fast traveling there, head to the flooded area to the southeast. If Emil has already appeared, you'll see his vehicle racing from that direction, after which he turns north.

In the Great Desert, finding him is more challenging, but he still appears there quite often. One of the more stable locations is the area near the Tetrapod landing site. Compared to Wasteland, the desert has more enemies and distractions, so Wasteland remains the easiest and quickest option if you're specifically searching for Emil.

How to Stop Emil

Simply spotting Emil isn't enough—you need to make him stop. Since he's constantly moving, the only way to interact with him is to shoot at his vehicle. It's best to use Stinger Missiles, which can automatically target. Other weapons also work, but you'll need precision and good timing. When you hit, his vehicle will flip over and stop.

Then you can approach him and purchase goods. But be cautious: if there are enemies nearby and they notice you or Emil, they might attack. If the shop is destroyed, you'll have to leave the area and return later to try again.

How to Collect Stellar Tears

To buy something in Emil's shop, you need Stellar Tears. These collectible objects are scattered throughout the Wasteland and Great Desert. They appear as transparent jars and are often located in hard-to-reach or well-hidden places. Emil leaves hints in the form of images on where to find them.

There are a total of 15 Stellar Tears in Stellar Blade. Some are found in caves, others on high ledges, and a few require solving puzzles or using parkour. If you fully explore both regions, you can collect the entire collection. And having hints from Emil significantly eases this task.
