The second phase of Honkai: Star Rail version 3.3, titled “Fall at Dawn”, is set to launch on June 11, 2025. Players can expect new Light Cones, character banners, and special limited-time events.

The spotlight of this phase is on two legendary Light Cones.

The first is "The Lie Dances on the Wind", a new 5-star Nihility Path Light Cone designed specifically for Cipher. It enhances her mechanics of dealing True DMG to marked enemies and allows for repeated application of debuffs, making her even more effective in prolonged battles.

The second is "Time Woven in Gold", the signature Light Cone of Aglaea, following the Path of Remembrance. Its effects reinforce Aglaea’s support role by boosting her Lightning abilities and team-wide buffs. This Light Cone returns as part of the Phase 2 banner.

One of the main highlights of Phase 2 in version 3.3 is the introduction of the new 5★ Light Cone — “The Lie Dances on the Wind.” Perfectly suited for Nihility Path characters, especially the new heroine Cipher, this Light Cone is built around strengthening debuffs and enabling True DMG strategies.

Its effects are especially useful for builds that focus on controlled damage dealing through marked enemies. This demonstrates the developers’ intent to diversify gameplay and support a variety of team roles and playstyles.

Alongside the new Light Cone comes a themed event titled "Brilliant Fixation: Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky." During this event, players can try their luck on the special Light Cone banner, where “The Lie Dances on the Wind” will be available.

In addition to valuable loot chances, the event also includes various tasks and challenges. These offer not just fun experiences but also foster community engagement by encouraging collective goals and participation.

Such limited-time events are a great way to keep player interest high and provide exciting new rewards and challenges for the community.

Banners and Rotation

From June 11 to July 1, 2025, the following banners will be active in the game:

• The character banner “Clever and Swift Conquers the Skies” introduces Cipher — a 5-star Quantum-element character on the Path of Nihility. Joining her are Qingque, Xueyi, and Sushang as 4-star characters.
• In parallel, the “Fate Rewoven” banner features the return of Aglaea — a 5-star Lightning-element character on the Path of Remembrance, with the same 4-star companions.
• For Light Cones, "The Lie Dances on the Wind" will be featured in the “Brilliant Fixation” banner, and “Time Woven in Gold” will appear in the “Echoes of the Past” banner.

Phase 2 of the 3.3 update for Honkai: Star Rail brings major additions — the debut of Cipher, the return of Aglaea, two unique Light Cones, and a brand-new event.
