Embark Studios has announced the launch of the second technical test for its multiplayer shooter ARC Raiders. The test will run from April 30 to May 4, 2025, and for the first time, it will be available not only on PC but also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What’s New in Tech Test 2

• Console DebutPlayers on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can now join the test alongside users on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
• Refined GameplayBased on feedback from the previous test, the combat system has been improved to be more precise and balanced.
• Cross-Platform TestingDevelopers will be testing the game's stability and performance across various platforms.

Players who participated in the first test will automatically gain access to Tech Test 2. New participants can apply via the official ARC Raiders website or through the game’s page on Steam.

About the Game

ARC Raiders is a PvPvE shooter with survival elements set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players, known as Raiders, venture to the surface to scavenge for resources while battling both hostile ARC robots and other players.

• The game emphasizes team-based gameplay for up to three players.
• Raids come with high risk — death means losing your loot.
• The project has dropped its original free-to-play model and will be released as a paid title, priced at $40, in 2025.

Registration is available on the official game website or the ARC Raiders Steam page. Selected participants will receive instructions on how to install the test version of the game.
