A fresh update has arrived for ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN, and while it may not shake the Lands Between to their core, it does patch up a handful of stubborn bugs and smooth out the gameplay just enough to keep Tarnished adventurers on track. Patch 1.01.4 is now live on all platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC bringing with it a wave of fixes, UI improvements, and some backend prep for what's to come.
Weapons now have their type listed very visibly on the Armament Information screen. It's a tiny tweak, yet it smooths out inventory trips for both hardcore build-crafters and casual players.
An annoying edge-case bug where matchmaking would consistently fail after two players joined and left simultaneously has finally been squashed. Co-op and PvP sessions should now feel more stable.
Some players couldn’t properly unlock the “It’s Raining!” gesture through multiplayer. This update corrects the issue and yes, if you met the requirements before, the gesture should now unlock retroactively.
A strange issue allowed players to revive mid-battle against the Day 3 boss after quitting and re-entering the game. That exploit has now been closed.
The soundtrack’s dramatic moments matter, especially in eerie memory sequences. A fix now ensures background music plays correctly during the Recluse Remembrance.
Players who bailed from the game immediately after clearing Shifting Earth: Crater sometimes didn’t receive credit for the completion. That’s now been addressed. If you already have the achievement: clearing the area again will still reward you with full completion status.
As always, the patch bundles in multiple smaller bug fixes that weren’t individually detailed, likely tweaks to performance, animations, and backend behavior.

Patch 1.01.4 may not steal the spotlight, yet it tidies up the experience where it counts- squashing stubborn bugs, boosting multiplayer stability, and setting the stage for the fresh content we've been promised.
