Capcom has formally confirmed its comeback to live broadcasts with the upcoming Capcom Spotlight presentation, which takes place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM PDT / 6:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM BST. The roughly 40-minute virtual event holds new information and the first looks at a few of Capcom’s largest upcoming games, such as Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Street Fighter 6.
Resident Evil Requiem
First revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025, Resident Evil Requiem is set for release on February 27, 2026. The game is about Grace Ashcroft, an unarmed FBI analyst who has to survive in a post-apocalyptic Raccoon City. The Spotlight should comprise fresh gameplay videos along with possibly crucial story points.
Pragmata
Originally announced in 2020, Pragmata has faced several delays, with its release currently scheduled for 2026. It’s a futuristic adventure combining shooter elements with a unique hacking mechanic during combat. The narrative focuses on a mysterious android girl. A major gameplay reveal and new story details are expected during the presentation.
Monster Hunter Wilds
Rumors among fans suggest the return of the legendary monster Lagiacrus. Capcom is likely to present a new update roadmap, additional quests, and a brief overview of upcoming content. Developers may appear with commentary and updates on the game’s future direction.
Street Fighter 6
As part of its third year of content updates, Street Fighter 6 will receive four new characters: Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. The presentation is expected to debut a trailer featuring Sagat and announce release dates for the upcoming content.
Meanwhile, the Reddit crowd is speculating about possible news revolving around the likes of Ace Attorney, Mega Man, or even ports for the rumored Switch 2. But none of those have been proven true since Capcom is busy with its four headline games.
