What’s your go-to Meridian loadout in Splitgate 2 — and does it really make a difference between Arena and Battle Royale?

Tried both loadouts, and honestly, Time Dome + Power Cycle in Arena feels like cheating. Regen Cloud in BR is decent, but I still think Arena builds are more fun overall.

Quantum + Time Dome combo is just nasty in Arena. I’m sticking with it until they nerf it.

BR needs Phasma 100%. That plasma damage shreds in late game fights.

I’ve been maining Meridian since launch and the loadouts definitely matter. In Arena, the Quantum rifle’s burst fire is super clean, and with Rapid Fire it melts mid-range. Time Dome makes flanks so much easier too. But in Battle Royale, it’s a different game — you need regen and resistance. Phasma hits hard and Regen Cloud has saved my squad more than once. If you just copy-paste your Arena build into BR, you’re gonna get wiped.

Honestly, the devs nailed the loadout variety here. Meridian in Arena with Quantum and Time Dome feels surgical — fast, precise, supportive. But BR demands more endurance, and that’s where Phasma and Regen Cloud shine. I love how perks like Firewall shift the dynamic. I went from dying mid-game to clutching endgame fights once I started using the right perks for each mode. Highly recommend customizing builds depending on whether you’re playing tight maps or big BR zones.
