Honestly, it's disappointing. Beat Saber was one of the best reasons to own a PSVR2, and cutting support this early feels like they’ve given up on the platform.
This decision might make sense for Beat Games if they’re planning a major new evolution of the game, but it’s definitely a blow to PSVR2. Beat Saber was a flagship title, and losing active support sends the wrong message about the platform’s future. Sure, you can still play it, but without new content or multiplayer past 2026, it’s going to feel like a dead experience. Unless Sony steps up with new killer apps, this move could hurt PSVR2's long-term appeal.
