Repo is terrifying enough when you’re creeping through its dark corridors with a squad. But if you’re bold, you can dive into this horror treasure-hunt solo. The good news - It's doable. The bad news - One wrong move, and you're monster chow.
If you're going it alone, here are the top tips to help you survive (and maybe even thrive) while soloing in Repo.
Beef Up: Upgrade for Survival
When playing solo, you are the squad. No teammate to revive you, no one to haul treasure, and definitely no one to cover your back. That’s why Health and Strength are your two most critical upgrades.
- Health = more hits before you're toast.
- Strength = more loot carried, less time in danger zones.
Solo play means stacking survival odds in your favor make every upgrade count.

No Shame in a Reset
Some levels just don’t feel right, too dark, too many monsters, too risky. When that happens, don’t hesitate: reload.
Your progress only saves when you beat a level, so if you’re stuck in a nightmare setup, back out and roll the dice again. Better to restart than get cornered and eaten alive.

Slow and Steady Stays Alive
Sprinting feels smart, until it isn’t. Blow your stamina early, and you’ll be crawling when a monster charges.
- Walk often, sprint only when it’s life or death.
- Conserve energy so you’re always ready to escape a threat.
In Repo, patience = survival. Don’t waste your stamina in silence—save it for screams.

Save the Easiest Exit for Last
Every extraction you complete pushes you closer to finishing the mission… and triggers monster respawns. Once the final extraction is done, things go into full chaos.
So here’s the solo strat: Leave the closest extraction to the truck for last. When the last wave hits, you’ll already be a sprint away from safety.
Study the Enemy, Stay Alive
Knowing how each monster behaves is the key to survival.
- Trudge hits hard but moves like molasses. Hide and wait it out.
- The Huntsman can’t see, but he’ll hear your heartbeat. Crouch and go full ninja.
- The Hidden might drag you into a death trap. Be alert and learn its patterns.
The more you understand their quirks, the better your instincts get. In solo mode, knowledge is your weapon.

Turn Monsters Into Weapons
You’re alone, but not unarmed. With enough strength and timing, you can turn Repo’s creatures against each other.
- Pick up the Rugrat and launch it at another monster.
- Lure two hostiles into the same hallway and let chaos handle the rest.
It’s risky. It’s wild. And sometimes, it’s your best shot at staying alive.

Soloing in Repo is high-stakes horror at its finest. But with the right mindset, upgrades, and monster knowledge, you can survive and even dominate the shadows. Play smart. Stay quiet. Know the enemy. And extract like a pro.
