The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl have postponed the release of their long-awaited game again. This time, the announced release date is 20 November 2024. According to preliminary information, the world was supposed to see the game on 5 September. This information was published on the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. account on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter).
At the same time, the developers have released another teaser trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 with the caption "Seriously, again?", which actually ironizes the situation with the next postponement of the game and the internal thoughts of fans who have already waited for it.
In the trailer, you can see a fragment of one of the locations that players will have to visit, and at the end, they showed the in-game interface, which is made in the spirit of the old games in the series.
However, the studio does not leave fans empty-handed. GSC Game World has announced S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developer Deep Dive, where they will share more materials about the game with fans. Including development details, gameplay, information about individual locations of the game world, and even show the passage of one of the main story missions. We will be able to see all this on 12 August.
We remind you that the previous postponements were caused by the outbreak of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, a fire in the studio's Prague office, hacker attacks by russians. And the instability of the electricity supply in Ukraine caused by the destruction of the power grid by the occupiers.
So, we are currently waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl to be released on 20 November 2024 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. You can also support the developers by pre-ordering the game right now.
