Cars are more than just a faster way to get around in RUNAWAYS. A good vehicle helps you survive police chases, cover long distances, reach every checkpoint, and turn a solid robbery run into a successful escape.
Let’s dive into this runaways roblox guide and find out which car is best in RUNAWAYS.
What RUNAWAYS is and How Cars Fit Into the RUNAWAYS Gameplay Loop
RUNAWAYS is a Roblox open-world crime and escape game by supercat games. You start as a wanted criminal trying to flee the country, which means robbing locations, selling loot, surviving increasingly aggressive police, and driving south until you escape into Mexico.
For players comparing RUNAWAYS Roblox vehicles, understanding how each car supports this core gameplay loop is more useful than simply choosing the option with the highest speed stat.
The gameplay loop is pretty simple:
- Rob → pawn loot → refuel and gear up → drive south → cross every border → escape to Mexico → spend Credz on permanent upgrades.
Cash and Credz serve different purposes. Selling loot at TrashAmerica Pawn gives you Cash during the current run. That Cash contributes to your final escape reward alongside distance traveled, wanted level, and borders crossed. Successfully reaching Mexico rewards Credz, which you can spend in the lobby on cars, classes, weapons, and other permanent progression.
So, grabbing a ton of loot isn’t enough. The best payouts come from actually surviving the full robbery-and-escape loop instead of wiping halfway through a stacked run.

All RUNAWAYS Cars: Prices, Stats, and Ranking

How to get cards in RUNAWAYS
You can buy cars in the RUNAWAYS main lobby from the Vehicle Smuggler using Credz or Robux.

Best RUNAWAYS Car to Buy for Every Budget
Your first vehicle purchase should depend less on which car sits at the top of a tier list and more on how much Credz or Robux you can comfortably spend. If you’re searching for the Runaways best car, the right answer therefore changes depending on your budget, skill level, and whether you value raw performance or survivability.
➤ Best free option — Claptima
Stick with the starter car at first. There’s no reason to burn your early Credz just because another vehicle is available. Learn the robbery routes, fuel management, police system, and border sequence before upgrading.

➤ Best-value Credz car — Charged
This is the first upgrade really worth saving for. The jump to 5 Speed, 6 Acceleration, and 5 Handling noticeably improves both police chases and long-distance travel. Unless you specifically want Armor, the Charged offers excellent value.

➤ Best safer Credz option — T-1000
If vehicle damage regularly kills otherwise good runs, the T-1000 may be more useful than the Charged. You sacrifice some acceleration but gain Armor and extra breathing room when things get messy.

➤ Best Уndgame Credz car — Reventador
Reventador for 550K Credz: Buy it once you already know how to survive without Armor. Its speed and handling are excellent, but 550K Credz is a huge investment if you’re still struggling with route planning or crashes.

➤ Best Robux-buy car — Floppy Truck
If the newer post-update stats shown in your server match recent guides, the Floppy Truck is arguably the strongest all-round premium vehicle thanks to its mix of speed, acceleration, and Armor.

How to Farm Credz Fast in RUNAWAYS
Update 1 made Credz farming in RUNAWAYS much easier, since successful escapes are no longer your only meaningful source of progression. An effective RUNAWAYS credz farming strategy now combines daily rewards, quests, profitable robberies, border crossings, distance bonuses, and successful escapes rather than relying on one activity alone.
At the start of every session, claim your Daily Reward and check your quests before beginning a run. Update 1 added a seven-day reward track with Credz, weapons, and gear, while lobby quests give you extra objectives to complete during normal gameplay. Recent coverage reports 1,000 Credz on Day 1, with the track eventually rewarding a Minigun on Day 7.

Quests are especially useful because they slot naturally into regular runs. Check the mission list first, then work those objectives into the robberies you were already planning.
During each run, focus on four things:
- Earn as much Cash as you safely can. Rob valuables and pawn them, while prioritizing ATMs, registers, safes, mailboxes, and other higher-paying targets. Update 1 boosted several of these Cash sources.
- Cross all four borders. Border crossings directly contribute to your final Credz payout.
- Cover as much distance as possible. Distance traveled adds another reward bonus, so a successful full-map escape pays far better than a short run.
- Keep a high wanted level if you can handle it. Wanted level also increases the final payout, but forcing five stars isn’t worth much if it gets you caught before Mexico.
Update 1 also improved the basic robbery route. ATMs, safes, mailboxes, and trash now pay more Cash, so it’s worth hitting convenient targets along the way instead of wasting time clearing every low-value object in a building.
You can also grab a small free boost with the code RUN, which recent Aug. 25 coverage lists as rewarding 1,000 Credz. The SUPERCAT code gives a Pistol instead. Codes can expire, though, so treat them as a bonus rather than part of your main farming strategy.

What Changed in RUNAWAYS Update 1
Update 1 launched around Aug. 22, 2026 and significantly reworked the RUNAWAYS economy. Reporting based on developer announcements says expensive Credz purchases were cut to roughly half their previous prices, while Credz earnings were also increased slightly.
The update also added Daily Quests, Daily Rewards, redeemable codes, better loot payouts, the Mudrunner, easier refueling, and several UI improvements.
Before the economy rebalance | Current post-update economy |
Charged — 150K Credz | Charged — 90K Credz |
T-1000 — 400K Credz | T-1000 — 220K Credz |
Reventador — 1M Credz | Reventador — 550K Credz |

Common RUNAWAYS Beginner Mistakes
The biggest early-game mistake is assuming you need a new vehicle immediately. You don’t. The free Claptima is perfectly fine for learning the robbery-to-Mexico route. Spending 15K Credz on the Chunk Mover may seem cheap, but saving directly for the 90K Charged gives you a much bigger performance upgrade.
Another common mistake is dumping Credz into expensive single-run weapons. Post-update weapon prices range from cheap melee gear to costly options like the Sniper, Grenade Launcher, RPG-7, and Minigun. Unlike permanent cars, run-specific equipment doesn’t provide the same long-term account value.
The Crowbar is the main exception if your route relies on breaking profitable targets such as ATMs and registers. Beyond essential robbery tools, avoid repeatedly buying flashy weapons until you can complete runs consistently.
It’s also easy to buy the Reventador too early just because it has the strongest speed stats. Its zero Armor leaves almost no room for sloppy driving, and losing valuable runs because you can’t control the car defeats the point of spending 550K Credz on it.
Finally, don’t burn through every resource before leaving town. Cash earned during a run still needs to cover practical necessities like fuel and whatever gear keeps the escape alive. Completing the run to Mexico is far more valuable for Credz progression than squeezing in one extra weapon purchase or low-value robbery and getting caught.
