The Feybreak Island update for Palworld has introduced a new and somewhat unpleasant challenge — powerful anti-air defense systems operated by Feybreak warriors. These missile installations make flying over the island extremely dangerous as they target any airborne player or Pal and shoot them down.
If you want to explore Feybreak Island without the constant fear of being attacked, you need to take control of the situation and disable these anti-air zones permanently. Here's how to do it.
Feybreak Island is a massive addition to the Palpagos islands, filled with new Pal, rare resources, and numerous adventures awaiting you. However, the anti-air zones introduced with the update complicate exploring the island, especially if you're used to carefreely soaring over landscapes on your flying Pal.
As soon as you enter one of these zones, a warning appears on the screen: "Entering Anti-Air Zone! Dismount your Pal to avoid being shot down!"
Within seconds, homing missiles target you and your Pal, leaving almost no chance of escape. If a missile hits, your Pal will be incapacitated, and you risk losing important items and progress. So, if you plan to fully enjoy the new island, you must learn to disable these protection systems.
The only way to stop the missiles permanently is to find and neutralize the anti-aircraft turrets scattered across the island. These turrets are well-guarded, but if you know how to approach them, you can disable them one by one.
Step 1. How to Find the Turrets
Each anti-aircraft turret is located at a Feybreak warriors' base surrounded by fences and guarded by enemies. To find these turrets, temporarily mount a flying Pal and look for the red arrows appearing on the screen. They indicate the direction from which the missiles are launched. Quickly dismount to avoid being shot and head towards the source of the arrows on foot or on a land Pal.
Fast land Pals like Fenglope, Direhowl, or Arsox are ideal for traversing the island and dodging missiles. Flying Pals, even if they can run on the ground, will still activate the missiles, so it's best to rely solely on land Pals until the turrets are disabled.
Step 2. Clearing the Feybreak Warriors' Bases
When you locate a turret, there will be many Feybreak Warriors nearby. These enemies are no joke: they are level 52-60 and equipped with powerful weapons, including rocket launchers that can severely harm you and your Pals. To effectively disable the base:
Although it's not mandatory to destroy all enemies, doing so significantly simplifies the hacking process.
Once the area is cleared, approach the computer terminal located at the base of the missile turret. This terminal controls the turret. Here's how to hack it:
Once the turret is disabled, you'll no longer receive the "Entering Anti-Air Zone" warning in that area, and you'll be able to safely fly again.
There are 22 anti-aircraft turrets located on Feybreak Island. To have complete freedom of aerial movement, you'll need to disable them all. Some of them are located in hard-to-reach areas, so be persistent and explore thoroughly. Once all the turrets are disabled, you can utilize your flying Pals like Jetragon or Frostallion to explore every corner of the island.

Disabling the anti-air zones not only makes your travels safer but also allows you to gain valuable rewards. Here are some tips:
Use Ground Pals When Necessary
Until you disable all the turrets, ground Pals will be the best choice for navigating the island. Fast and maneuverable mounts like Fenglope will help you quickly explore areas and avoid missiles.
Rescue Captured Pals
At every Feybreak Warriors base, you'll find a captured Pal in a cage near the turret. Freeing them will grant you delightful bonuses:
By doing so, you'll disable the anti-air defense zone, allowing you to freely traverse the area in flight without the fear of being shot down by enemies.
