Palworld: Feybreak - Where to Find Ribbuny Botan

The Feybreak expansion for Palworld has introduced a host of new Pals, among which Ribbuny Botan stands out—a charming grass variant of the standard Ribbuny. If you're seeking an adorable addition to your team, then Ribbuny Botan is exactly what you need. So, we will explain how to catch this Pal in Palworld: Feybreak.

How to Find and Catch Ribbuny Botan

Ribbuny Botan resides across the Loess Plains region on Feybreak Island, a picturesque area full of vegetation and new challenges. These Pals typically move in small herds.

However, interacting with these groups can quickly become challenging if you are not well-prepared. If your level is below 55, brace yourself for a tough battle against their coordinated attacks.

Ribbuny Botan usually flee when they notice strangers, but when threatened, they display an unexpected level of resistance. The ideal strategy is to wait until night when these creatures sleep. During this time, you can sneak up and use a Legendary Sphere or a higher-level sphere for a guaranteed successful capture of the Pal. However, it's important to be cautious, as an overly strong team may inadvertently wipe out the entire herd, depriving you of the chance to catch even one.

Where to Find and Capture the Alpha Ribbuny Botan

There is also an alpha version of this Pal, which can be found at coordinates [-1211, -1354] in the fortress ruins. You can reach this location by using the Scorched Hill fast travel point. However, the path to the fortress is not without obstacles. An active anti-air defense base guards this area, and it must be deactivated for safe passage.

Upon arrival, you'll encounter the alpha Ribbuny Botan among a herd of regular ones, as well as several Tarantriss, whose numerous attacks can complicate the battle. Although Alpha looks similar to its younger counterparts, it can be recognized by its size and the special boss health panel that appears when hovered over. The alpha has 3705 HP and moderate combat abilities.

Fire-type Pals are particularly effective against Ribbuny Botan's grass weaknesses, making them an essential part of your team if your level is below 55. Once the Alpha is weakened, use a Legendary Sphere or better to capture one of the most coveted Pals in Feybreak.

Breeding and Additional Opportunities

For those interested in breeding Pals, note that Ribbuny Botan can be obtained through the Verdant Egg, acquired by pairing Bristla (Palpedia No. 30, grass-type) with standard Ribbuny (Palpedia No. 39, neutral type) at the breeding farm. Once you've obtained the egg, use an incubator to hatch a level one Ribbuny Botan, expanding your collection of Pals and combat versatility.
