With the start of the new season, Final Kombat in the Mortal Kombat Pro Kompetition 2025 becomes the main event for fans of competitive fighting games. Mortal Kombat tournament 2025 promises to be one of the most ambitious and intense events in the genre. The final stage—Final Kombat—is approaching, which will determine the ultimate world champion of MK1.
Overview of the Mortal Kombat Pro Kompetition 2025 Tournament Format
Last Chance Qualifier Format
LCQ offers one player the chance to make it to the world championship. The tournament will be held in a Double Elimination system—participants are eliminated after two losses. All matches will be played in a Best-of-Five format.
Only one out of 256 participants will earn the right to continue competing in the main event. This player will join nineteen others who have already secured their spots through previous qualifications and leaderboard results.

Group Stage Format
The second day of the competition will start with the group stage featuring twenty players. Participants will be divided into four groups of five. Group allocation is based on the Global Points Leaderboard. The format is Round Robin: each player will compete against every opponent in their group.
All group stage matches will be in a Best-of-Five format. The results are based on the number of matches won. In case of a tie, additional criteria are applied: difference in games won and lost, round difference, and head-to-head results between players. This system ensures fair progression while rewarding consistency and strength throughout the stage.
The top two players from each group advance to the final bracket.

Final Kombat Bracket
The event's climax will occur on the third day—during the final bracket. In the Double Elimination format, all participants start in the upper bracket. Matches are held in a Best-of-Five format, requiring players to show endurance and adaptability.
Ultimately, this is where the Mortal Kombat 1 Pro Kompetition 2025 champion will be determined, entering the history of the legendary series.
