Knowledge is one of the five social stats in the game. It affects your ability to access certain scenes, unlock new dialogue options with characters, increase Synergy with specific allies, and gain access to special books and activities. Here are proven ways to boost your Knowledge:

Attending School Classes

While attending school, the protagonist is sometimes asked questions. Answering correctly awards a good amount of Knowledge points. This is a random event that gives a free stat boost without spending any action points.

Watching Movies 

In the Shibuya district, there is a movie theater that occasionally shows films which improve social stats. Some of these specifically enhance Knowledge. Watching a movie costs Action Points, but the result is worth it — films can provide a noticeable boost to this stat.

Part-Time Jobs

Jobs don’t directly increase Knowledge, but they allow you to earn money, which can then be spent on books and other useful items. The most popular part-time jobs are at the beef bowl diner, convenience store, and flower shop.

Studying

There are several locations where you can study to increase your Knowledge. These include the library, diner, and your room at home. Each location offers its own benefits — for example, studying in the library during rain or lunchtime yields better results. Studying at home is convenient, though the effect is slightly weaker. Studying consumes Action Points, but it's a stable and reliable way to improve your Knowledge.

Reading Books

Books are a very effective tool for stat growth. In the Jinbocho bookstore, you can purchase special books that improve certain stats. For example, Starvation of the Mind increases Knowledge. You can read books at home or during trips when you have free time. It usually takes a few in-game days, but the effect is worthwhile.

Random Events — Reading on the Train

Sometimes while riding the subway, you may have the chance to read a book. This happens automatically if you have an unread book in your inventory. These events don’t consume any resources and offer a great opportunity to increase Knowledge with no extra effort.
