In Dune: Awakening, survival depends not only on combat skills but also on your ability to maintain health and hydration. Below is a summary of all current methods for healing and increasing max health.
The fastest way to restore health is by using medkits. There are two types available in the game: Healkit and Healkit MK2. The basic Healkit works well during the early stages, providing a reliable amount of healing for general use. The MK2 version is more advanced and restores health much more quickly, making it especially useful during intense combat situations where rapid recovery is essential.
There are also passive skills in the Body Control tree (available to the Bene Gesserit class) that enhance regeneration:

The only way to raise your health cap is by leveling the Vitality skill in the Body Control skill tree. This path is available only if you’ve chosen the Bene Gesserit class or unlocked their trainer via special questlines.
Each level of Vitality grants a bonus to your total health pool. When combined with other passive skills, your character becomes significantly more durable.
Without water, your health will not regenerate. You must maintain hydration at all times. Be sure to:

In certain situations (such as severe damage or dehydration), your maximum health may be lowered. This is visible as a shortened red HP bar.

Early in the game, it’s advisable to choose the Bene Gesserit class. This unlocks the Body Control tree, which includes essential passive skills for regeneration and health bonuses. If you chose a different path, seek out a Bene Gesserit trainer and complete the required quests to unlock the skill line.
After unlocking Body Control, invest skill points into Recovery, Self-Healing, and Vitality.
To stay healthy in Dune: Awakening, you must combine healing items, passive skills, and constant hydration. Increasing max health is only possible through the Vitality skill. In tough situations, dying and resting are valid strategies to restore health and get back to full strength.
