The Twisted Mutation is a brand-new mutation introduced as part of the massive Summer Update in Roblox’s Grow A Garden. It’s one of the mutations triggered by a weather effect from the rotating weather pool, meaning it's available fairly often!

A Closer Look at the Twisted Mutation

The Twisted Mutation gives your crops a subtle swirling wind effect. From a distance, it can be difficult to spot, as it is a subtle and also closely resembles the Windstruck Mutation. However, up close, you’ll notice a distinct white circling aura around affected crops.

How to Get the Twisted Mutation

The Twisted Mutation can be triggered during Tornado weather. When this weather appears, random tornadoes will spawn across the map, briefly drifting in various directions. If a tornado comes into contact with one of your crops, it will apply the Twisted Mutation.

Tornado is part of the regular weather rotation, unlike some rare mutation events that are only available through admin-triggered weather, such as Alien Invasion or Disco.

Unfortunately, there are no tools available to attract tornadoes to your garden. While you can use the Tanning Mirror to draw sunbeams during Heat Wave weather, or the Lightning Rod to attract strikes during Thunderstorm weather, no such tool exists for directing tornadoes to your crops.

What Is the Twisted Mutation Multiplier?

The Twisted Mutation grants a 4x price multiplier, meaning it multiplies your crop’s sell value by four. It’s more profitable than most basic mutations like Wet, Moonlit, or Chilled, but it falls short when compared to higher-tier mutations such as Frozen or Shocked.
