Path of Exile 2 has been out for a few days now and many players have already started to figure out the best builds and best items to use in the game. Along with the items come passive buffs that give your character extra statistics, and even sometimes unique abilities that are bound to that particular buff.

So far in the few days of playing Path of Exile 2, one of the strongest buffs in the game so far is the Raging Spirits. This is a very powerful gem that can only be used if you have an ability that deals fire damage. Once you have fire damage, this is where the fun begins. Let's take a deeper look at how Raging Spirits works in Path of Exile :

• Minions from this skill convert 70% of Physical Damage to Fire Damage
• Limit 10 Summoned Raging Spirits
• Fire Area Spells summon a Spirit per 1.5 metres of radius
• Projectiles from Fire Spells summon a Spirit on hit
• Maximum 5 Spirits summoned per Spell cast

Bear in mind that players must be over level 10 to use Raging Spirits and also have a character that has 25 intelligence. Now that you know what the passive gem does, let's show you the easiest and quickest way to getting this gem for yourself.

The quickest way to get Raging Spirits in PoE2

Thankfully, this is a gem skill that you can get very early into the game, in Act 1 as a matter of fact, which isn't common for one of the strongest skills in the game. When you're in the Clearfell encampment, there will be a character called Finn. Speak to him before embarking to the Hunting Grounds.

Finn will provide you with a quest called Ominous Altars, which will have you completing your first ritual in the game. Once you've done that, Finn will be teleported to the ritual site and sent on another quest to take down the remaining altars in the Freythorn area.

Proceed to Freythorn where you will have to take down all three altars before you can take on the secondary boss known as the King in the Mist. It is important before taking on this boss that you have the Ominous Altars quest active otherwise you will not be able to get a Gembloom Skull.

Once you have this quest item, right-click it which will then reward you with an uncut spirit gem. Use this gem to unlock a persistent skill gem buff. Then go to the sorcerer's tab where you'll find the Raging Spirits skill gem. Now that you have this buff unlocked, place it in an unallocated slot in your abilities tree.
