In Deltarune, getting knocked out in battle isn’t always the end, but it sure feels like it when Susie or Ralsei hit the ground. Unlike Kris, who can be patched up with a standard healing item, Susie and Ralsei drop to a brutal -999 HP when downed, making most recovery items useless. That’s where Revive Mints come in: rare, full-restore items that bring your allies back from the brink.

Chapter 1
Your options are slim in the first chapter, but there are a couple hidden Revive Mints worth grabbing:
- Forest Path: After the Bake Sale but before the Maze, there’s a chest containing one Revive Mint. Easy to miss if you rush through.
- Card Castle (4th Floor): Interact with the three spade portraits to unlock a secret chest containing another.
Quick Tip: Don't use these unless you absolutely have to, there’s no way to get more in Chapter 1.
Chapter 2
Revive Mints are a bit more plentiful in Chapter 2, but you’ll need to dig for them:
- Cyber Field: Solving a puzzle involving Virovirokun reveals a hidden chest with one Mint inside.
- Queen’s Mansion: Look closely during the painting puzzle, a chest is tucked behind one of the wall art pieces.
- Acid Lake Area: Here, you’ll actually find Revive Dust, a superior item that also brings characters back at full HP. Consider it an emergency-only item.
Efficiency Tip: Try saving these for boss fights like Sweet Cap’n Cakes or Spamton if you're playing on higher difficulties.

Chapter 3
In Chapter 3, item hunting gets more creative. You’ll be relying on game mechanics rather than just exploration:
- Gacha Machine (Green Room): Spend points from the TV Time minigame to try your luck. Higher investments (400–600 points per spin) increase your odds of landing rare drops like Revive Mints.
- Tenna’s TV Studio Puzzle: Switch control to Lancer and solve a controller-based puzzle to unlock a guaranteed Revive Mint.
Farmable? Kind of. The gacha is technically repeatable if you keep earning points, but it's not guaranteed.
Chapter 4
Chapter 4 takes a more unconventional approach to item rewards:
- Money Pool (First Sanctuary): Donate under 2000 D$ to the pool next to the bookshelf room. If you stay under the threshold, you’ll be rewarded with a Revive Mint.
- Northwest Library: A hidden chest here contains a Mint. Explore every corner.
- Second Sanctuary (Piano Room): Another chest with a Revive Mint is tucked away behind the grand piano setup.
Warning: If you overspend on the Money Pool, you’ll miss your chance, so budget wisely.

When Should You Use Revive Mints?
Here's the bottom line: Don’t waste them.
- Kris: Usually revivable with items like Dark Candy or Heal Prayer.
- Susie & Ralsei: Drop to -999 HP and stay down unless you use Revive Mints or Revive Dust.
Good times to use one:
- During long boss fights (like Queen, Spamton NEO, or Chapter 4’s Titans).
- When two or more party members are down.
- If you're far from a Save Point and out of healing items.
Never sell them. Yes, you technically can for 200 D$, but it’s not worth it, there’s no reliable way to buy them back.

Revive Mints are Deltarune’s version of a second chance. While they’re rare and can’t be bought in stores, they’re sprinkled throughout each chapter for those willing to search, solve puzzles, or take some gacha-related risks.
