The Friendship update for Grow a Garden has introduced some interesting content, including plants, events, and seeds that will allow you to grow many fascinating flowers, decorate your garden, and earn a significant profit. However, the most valuable at the moment is the Honeysuckle seed, which is not easy to obtain. Find out how in our guide.

Honeysuckle Characteristics and Its Value in Grow a Garden

Growing Honeysuckle is entirely justified. It is a mythical-level plant that cannot be found or purchased in stores or standard seed packs. It is only available through the Honey Crafter event, making it one of the rarest and most difficult to obtain in the game.

A mature Honeysuckle plant can be sold at Steven’s Shop for a base price of 95,000 Sheckles — and that's without considering mutations. If you’re lucky to get a rare mutation like Gold (20x multiplier) or Dawnbound (150x multiplier), the profit can increase significantly.

Honeysuckle also has an advantage: it is a perennial flower, meaning it doesn't need to be replanted after each harvest. It’s perfect for farmers in the late stages of the game. Use the best sprinklers and grow several Honeysuckle plants at once if you already have the seeds of this plant.

How to Unlock Honeysuckle Seeds in Grow a Garden

To unlock Honeysuckle seeds, you need to interact with Bizzy Bear, also known as Chef Bear. You can find him near Queen Bee, right in the center of the map. In his Honey Crafter menu, there is a list of 30 recipes, and Honeysuckle is the main reward for completing the last one.

Each recipe requires submitting a flower with a specific weight and mutation — Pollinated or HoneyGlazed — along with Honey, which is used as the main crafting material. This means you will have to plant, grow, and mutate a lot of plants to meet the conditions of each step.

You can track your progress at any time by consulting Chef Bear and reviewing which recipe you are currently on. The ability to create Honeysuckle will only appear after completing the previous 29 recipes.

How to Obtain Honeysuckle Seeds in Grow a Garden

The thirtieth recipe requires two specific things. First, you need 40 units of Honey. You can collect it by participating in the Bee Swarm minigame, which periodically appears as an event in the main area. Repeat the event to accumulate the necessary amount of Honey, as it is also used in previous recipes and as currency to purchase certain items.

Second, you need 24.5 kg of Purple Dahlia with the Pollinated mutation. This flower can be grown from the Flower Seed Pack, which appeared in this same update. Since weight matters, make sure to use appropriate sprinklers to speed up the plant's growth. Also, the Pollinated mutation is easier to obtain if you have Bee Pets.

Once you've collected the necessary amount of Honey and mutated Purple Dahlia, return to Chef Bear, find the crafting barrel nearby, press the interaction button to submit the materials (default E), and then confirm the creation of the Honeysuckle seed.

Can You Speed Up the Process with Robux

Not everyone will want to manually complete all thirty recipes. If you’re one of those players, there is a faster but more expensive way. Each recipe can be skipped for 39 Robux. Skipping all 30 recipes will cost 1,170 Robux — which is quite a lot, so consider whether you need such expenses or if it’s better to do everything yourself. At the same time, even partial use of this feature can save time on the most challenging recipes.

The "Skip Recipe" feature is available near the NPC bear. After completing the last recipe, whether you did it yourself or through donation, you will immediately receive the Honeysuckle seed.

Tips for Plant Care in Grow A Garden

Completing this quest requires smart planning. You will need to grow many plants with very specific characteristics. Some require exact weight, others rare mutations.

Use advanced sprinklers to achieve the required plant weight. Different sprinklers speed up growth and increase the chances of mutations. Honey Sprinklers are especially useful if you need to get HoneyGlazed, which appears in several recipes. Pollinated is easier to obtain if you have Bee Pets.

To speed up growth, you can use watering cans. It's also important to regularly check your field to avoid wasting resources.
