The economy in Duckov can feel cruel, but the truth is that cash is everywhere if you know how to look for it. From looting smart to farming high-value enemies, here are the best ways to get rich fast in Escape From Duckov.

Run the Ground Zero Loot Route
The Ground Zero map is your best early-game goldmine. Starting from the bunker’s main entrance, hug the left edge of the map until you reach a bandit camp. Along the way, you’ll find toolboxes filled with crafting materials: wood, nuts, and bolts, all useful for hideout upgrades or a quick sell to merchants.
Inside the camp itself, take out the hostile ducks and open the weapon crate near the campfire. This chest has a chance to drop high-value guns like assault rifles, which are some of the best items to sell early on. You’ll also find food and meds in smaller boxes, good for keeping yourself alive or flipping for a profit later. After looting the camp, swing back to the bunker, head down the right-hand path, and repair the broken bridge using two pieces of wood. This unlocks a shortcut to the bunker’s cellar and opens up faster farming runs for future trips.
Farm the Black Birds
Once you’ve got your bearings, it’s time to take on tougher targets, namely, the Black Birds. North of the bunker cellar shortcut, you’ll find a fenced compound guarded by these heavily-armed avians.
They’re tougher than the red or green ducks you met earlier, but they drop better loot: high-tier guns, level 2 armor, and plenty of standard ammo. Use the sandbags scattered around the area for cover, you can shoot over them safely until they break.
If you’re feeling confident, challenge Pato Chapo, the boss of the compound. He’s tanky, but taking him down can net you some of the most valuable drops in the game. Selling his gear alone can fund several full runs’ worth of supplies.

Trading
Merchants can also help you make more money through clever trading. Some vendors pay more for certain categories (weapons, medical supplies, etc.), so it pays to learn who offers the best rates.
Complete Quests and Side Contracts
While looting is the bread and butter of Escape From Duckov, don’t sleep on quests. Many side contracts not only reward you with direct cash but also give access to new merchants and cheaper prices. Some quest items may look like junk at first, resist the urge to sell them until you’re sure they’re not needed for progression.

Plan your routes, know your extraction points, and avoid wasting time or resources. A well-executed 10-minute run can make you more money than a half-hour of reckless wandering.
