Surviving in 99 Nights in the Forest is no easy task, especially when danger or a beast lurks around every corner. To increase your chances of survival, you'll need bandages, which are the primary way to restore health in the game. Unfortunately, obtaining bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest is not straightforward, and stocking up on them in advance is not an option. But we're here to help and will tell you how to get bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest.
First method: you can try searching for bandages in chests. They are often hidden in inconspicuous places: inside stumps, in wooden treehouses, near ruined structures, or even partially buried at the edge of the map.
And even if you find such a chest, it doesn't guarantee bandages inside. The item drop is random. You could explore for hours and only get one or two bandages if you're unlucky. That's the harsh reality of the forest: you don't get what you deserve—you get what you find.
Second method: find a hospital, and you are likely to find bandages or medkits inside the cabinets.
You can craft bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest. To do this, you need to find a building with an anvil. Clear it of enemies (mostly cultists). Restore the anvil by finding its parts around the building.
After that, you'll have access to a crafting table where you can create bandages. The resources needed for bandages are:
If you don't want to rely entirely on luck, there's one reliable way to start the game with bandages—choose the Medic class. This character begins the game with two bandages in their inventory, giving you a small reserve for the future. It may seem trivial, but when you're alone in the forest without resources, these two bandages can save your life.
It's worth noting that this class isn't available from the start and isn't free. The Medic class in 99 Nights in the Forest must be purchased for 40 diamonds (198 Robux). Once purchased, it remains available to you forever, and you can choose it before each new game. In multiplayer mode, the Medic is especially useful, as they can heal teammates.
Various injuries and wounds occur constantly: they can be scratches from wild animals, blows from humanoid enemies, or falls from heights—all of which pose a threat to your health.
Bandages are the quickest and most reliable way to heal wounds, especially when you're deep in the forest and don't have time to rest or retreat. The game doesn't feature automatic health regeneration, and healing opportunities are limited. Therefore, bandages are your safety net, especially mid-game and closer to the final nights when enemies become more aggressive and unpredictable.
The game is actively developing, and many mechanics, items, and exciting new features await us in the future. There is hope that future updates will introduce new healing items or methods. But as of now, if you're not playing as a Medic, your only path to bandages is exploring the map and hoping for luck. For now, these are all the ways to obtain bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest.
