Path of Exile 2 has been out for a couple of weeks now, players were able to purchase in early to get their hands on the latest installment in the franchise. The supporters edition offers hundreds of hours of content, including three main campaign acts, followed by the same three acts on a harder difficulty, and and Endgame mode which truly challenges players.
Across your time going through the campaign, players will be able to earn permanent stats that give you the edge as you're battling various enemies. These can be acquired in many ways, so let's take a look at every permanent buff in Path of Exile 2's campaign and how you can get them.
Path of Exile 2 Act 1 permanent buffs and their locations

+10 to Cold Resistance | This buff can be found in Clearfell where you'll be tasked with killing Beira of the Rotten Pack. |
+30 to Spirit | Take on the side quests by Finn, where you'll end up at Freyhorn where you'll have to kill King In The Mist enemy. |
+ 2 Passive Skill Points | Head over to Ogham Farmlands and look for Una's Hut, open the chest and you'll receive your permanent buffs. |
+ 2 Passive Skill Points | Look through the Hunting Grounds until you find the hidden boss The Crowbell. |
+20 Maximum Life | Kill The Candlemass, The Living Rite in Ogham Manor. |
Path of Exile 2 Act 2 permanent buffs and their locations

30% Increased Charm Charges Gained and 15% increased Life Recovery From Flasks | Need to complete the Ancient Vows quest, which will require you to collect two relics. Take those relics to the Valley of the Titans. Search for an altar that will allow you to place those relics into it for the buffs. |
+2 Passive Skill Points | Defeat Kabala, Contrictor Queen in Keth. |
+2 Passive Skill Points | Shambrin will offer you a sidequest where you must find the Final Letter on Deshar. Find this letter and bring it back to them. |
+10% Lightning Resistance | Find the Sisters of Garukhan's shrine and activate it in The Spires of Deshar. |

+25% Increased Stun Threshold, +30% Increased Elemental Ailment Threshold, and +25% Increased Mana Regeneration Rate | You will get a sidequest from Servi to find a Venom Vial in The Venom Crypts. Take it to Servi to receive the buff. |
+2 Passive Skill Points | Utzaal enemies will randomly drop a Sacrificial Heart. Pick one up and place it on the altar in Aggorat to receive the permanent buff. |
This is all you can get in the main story for Path of Exile 2. If you're a player who likes a challenge, there are more to get in the Cruel Acts. Luckily these are only extra buffs that will help you towards taking on the hundreds of hours in the Endgame mode, which is where the Cruel difficulty buffs will be of value.
