The Borderlands series has always found creative ways to reward its community, and Borderlands 4 is no exception. The collaboration between Borderlands 4 and Discord allows players to earn an additional Golden Key for in-game chests, as well as a special Discord frame, by completing a promotional quest in Borderlands 4.

How to Get Discord Rewards for Borderlands 4

Launch and log in to your Discord. Navigate to the Discover > Quests section and find the Borderlands 4 quests. Click the "Accept Quest" button to start it.

How to Get the Borderlands 4 Frame on Discord

To get the Borderlands 4 frame for Discord, start the Echo-4 Avatar Decoration task. To do this:

• Watch a 30-second video about Borderlands 4.
• After watching, click the "Accept" button.
• Then you can enable the frame on your Discord profile.

The task is available until September 19, 2025!

How to Get a SHiFT Code (Golden Key) in Borderlands 4 via Discord Quest

To get a free Golden Key through the Discord quest, you need to play Borderlands 4 for 15 minutes.

• Start by taking the Borderlands 4 SHiFT Code task.
• Next, depending on your platform, select PC or Console.
• If you're on a console (PlayStation / Xbox), you'll need to link your account.
• Then launch Borderlands 4 with Discord enabled to track the task progress.

The task is available until September 26, 2025!

Once you've played 15 minutes in Borderlands 4, you can claim your reward — a Borderlands 4 SHiFT Code. It needs to be redeemed in the game or on a separate page of the official website to receive x1 Golden Key for chests in Borderlands 4.
