How Long to Beat Deltarune

Like Toby Fox's previous game, Deltarune has an enchanting narrative, and players have been gravitated toward its exquisite characters as well as engaging bullet-pattern combat. The game currently has four chapters available; however, fans are increasingly curious about the story's exploration time span: "How long to beat all of it?”.

For completionists who are keen on exploring every corner, solving every puzzle, and defeating all optional bosses and hidden challenges, are looking at investing around 35 hours or even exceeding 42 hours. What Affects Your Playtime?

Deltarune is a game that can take anywhere from a few hours to several days to complete, it all depends how you approach the game. The primary story can be completed much faster than the optional content, yet the game offers so much more such as hidden bosses, the "Snowgrave Route" in Chapter 2, alternate paths, secret puzzles and plethora of other secrets. Your completionist skills will heavily dictate your playtime. Furthermore, your experience with solving certain puzzles within portions of the game may allow you pass sections quicker compared to others.

If you're thinking of playing for the narrative, you will spend approximately 16 to 19 hours in Deltarune. However, those striving to uncover every secret, defeat all optional bosses, and encounter every possible route would easily exceed 35 to 42 hours or more. Note this is just the start as there are still chapters 5, 6, and 7 in development which will significantly increase the total estimated playtime once everything is said and done. If it’s your first time or if you’re coming back for another round, there’s a lot to dive into and so much more to anticipate.
