How to Unlock Travels Are Fuller With Friends

Before you can dive into the puzzles, you’ll need to unlock the event:

1. Complete “To a Carefree Vacation” Sub-Quest
2. Teleport to the Easy Breezy Holiday Resort waypoint to trigger the quest automatically.
3. Finishing this sub-quest unlocks the event in your menu.
4. Meet Huilu at Easybreeze Market
5. Speak with Huilu to activate the challenge.
6. Interact again to select your stage and hit Start to begin solving puzzles.

How to Play the Event

The Travels Are Fuller With Friends event is a puzzle-based challenge. Your objective is to escort all companions to the finish line. Sounds easy, right? Not so fast—blocked paths, moving boxes, and strategic character placement make this event a true test of problem-solving.

Companion Lineups

Each stage provides unique companions with special abilities:

• Kau Kau – Agile, jumps high, can squeeze through narrow gaps.
• Akamai – Strong, capable of pushing heavy boxes, but has low mobility.

You’ll often need to combine their abilities to solve puzzles efficiently. Some stages even require a specific order of movement to prevent companions from blocking each other.

Collecting Nanas Cakes

Throughout the event, you’ll spot Nanas Cakes on paths or tucked into hidden corners.

• Purpose: Collecting these is essential for maximum rewards.
• Tip: Don’t rush to the finish line, sometimes a small detour for cakes pays off.

Finishing the Stage

A stage ends when all companions cross the finish line. Keep in mind:

• Some puzzles require a specific order to avoid accidental blockages.
• Use your smaller, more agile companions first to unlock paths for the heavier ones.

Travels Are Fuller With Friends Stage Guide

The event features 8 stages (Journeys), each with its own obstacles and companion lineup. Here’s a guide to the first two puzzles to get you started:

Journey 1: A Tale of Two Boxes

1. Use Akamai (the larger companion) to push Kau Kau and the box toward the blocked path.
2. Switch to Kau Kau and navigate to the other side.
3. Push the box onto the golden button to unlock the passage for Akamai.
4. Collect all Nanas Cakes with Kau Kau before finishing.
5. Move both companions to the end to clear the stage.

Journey 2: Of Doors and Duties

1. Select Kau Kau and jump onto Akamai’s back.
2. Leap to the red button above to open the first door.
3. Move Akamai through the path and collect the nearby Nanas Cakes.
4. Use Kau Kau to push the box onto the golden button for the final unlock.
5. Escort both companions to the finish line to claim your rewards.
