Premier League budgets in Football Manager 2024

Given that the Premier League is the most played league in Football Manager 2024, we thought it was a good idea to take a look at the transfer budgets of Premier League teams in Football Manager 2024.

It’s worth noting at this point, however, that not every team has money to spend at the start of your saves. Seeing as Football Manager releases after the conclusion of the transfer window, budgets are decided by money spent versus money generated, which is why some teams will have no money and others will have lots.

For instance, Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest, and Burnley all have £0 because they spent lots compared to what they brought in, however, at the other end of the spectrum, Brighton have £80m because of the amount of profit they made during the transfer window.

So, without further ado, here are the starting transfer budgets of Premier League teams in Football Manager 2024:

  1. Brighton - £80m
  2. Liverpool - £64m
  3. Manchester City - £35m
  4. Brentford - £30m
  5. West Ham - £24m

The biggest budgets in Football Manager 2024

If you’re looking for something new and don’t want to play in the Premier League, there are other teams that can provide you with a nice amount of money to get started in a new save.

Of course, these teams do tend to be teams that are already at the top of their respective divisions, so only consider them if you’re chasing European glory and don’t necessarily want to be challenged at a domestic level.

That isn’t to say there aren’t challenges within this list, the Spanish First Division is one of the most challenging leagues in the game thanks to their wage budget restrictions, so Celta Vigo with their big budget thanks to the sale of Gabri Veiga can be a great option.

We’ll leave the Saudi teams out of this list because they aren’t playable in Football Manager 2024, as well as the Premier League teams as we’ve already mentioned them, so here are the five biggest budgets outside of the Premier League in Football Manager 2024:

  1. Celta Vigo - £34m
  2. AS Monaco - £30m
  3. PSG - £30m
  4. Athletic Bilbao - £21m
  5. Real Madrid - £21m
