The Fish Fischgiving event has brought a variety of tasks, completing which will earn you a heap of exciting rewards, with the main one being the Corruption Rod. However, to obtain it, you must complete the Pilgrim's quests.
Given the complexity of some tasks, especially the final one that grants you the coveted rod, you might encounter challenges in completing them. This guide to the Pilgrim's quests will provide tips on how to complete all tasks and what rewards you'll receive.
Where to Find the Pilgrim in Fisch and Start His Quests
You'll find the NPC Pilgrim in Moosewood, right on the beach near the Top C$ leaderboard. If you need an exact location, use the GPS in Fisch and head to the coordinates [402, 134, 257]. Talking to the Pilgrim initiates the first task, and after completing each subsequent one, you'll need to return to him to unlock the next.

All Pilgrim's Tasks and Rewards in Fisch
There are six Pilgrim tasks in total, each rewarding you with interesting items. The last task is the most challenging, but the reward is equally delightful. Here's a list of all Pilgrim's quests and their rewards:

Pilgrim Fisch Fischgiving Task and Reward Table
TASK | REWARD |
Bring ×1 Pilgrim Hat | Apple Cider |
Bring any Turkey | Acorn Bobber |
Trade 3 Turkeys | Gravy Boat |
Bring ×1 Shiny Turkey | Apple Pie Slice |
Complete all Fischgiving quests | Lit Haystack |
Bring ×1 Gravy Turkey | Cornucopia Rod |

How to Complete All Pilgrim's Quests in Fisch
Each task has its level of difficulty: some are quite easy, while others are a bit tougher, requiring rare items or interaction with the Fischgiving event mechanics. Below you can find details on the Pilgrim's tasks.
Quest 1: Bring a Pilgrim Hat
The Pilgrim mentions seeing his hat floating in the water. Based on this, you understand that the hat needs to be fished out of the water. The Pilgrim Hat is most commonly found near Maple Meadow.
The Pilgrim Hat can be caught anywhere on the map, but Maple Meadow offers the highest chance of catching it. Using the Aurora Totem and a high-luck rod significantly increases your chances.

Quest 2: Bring Any Turkey
During Fischgiving, you can also fish turkeys out of the water. You can catch them near Moosewood or Maple Meadow until you catch one—regardless of its rarity—and return to the Pilgrim for the second reward.
Quest 3: Trade Three Turkeys
For this quest, you need to trade three turkeys with other players through the in-game trading system. They don't have to be shiny or mutated—ordinary ones will suffice. Public servers and trade hubs help complete the task quickly, as many players are doing the same.

Quest 4: Bring a Shiny Turkey
For this task, you need to catch and bring a Shiny Turkey to the Pilgrim. A rod with a high luck stat or the Aurora Totem will work well for this. Shiny turkey variants appear randomly, so you'll need to fish a bit. Maple Meadow is again the best place for fishing.

Quest 5: Complete All Fischgiving Quests
To complete this quest, you need to finish all 12 Fisch Fishgiving event tasks related to turkeys and other NPCs. Find 12 characters and fulfill their requirements. After completing the entire list, return to the Pilgrim to receive the Lit Haystack Lantern.

Quest 6: Bring a Gravy Turkey
The final task is the most challenging: you need a turkey with the Gravy mutation, which can usually only be caught using the Cornucopia Rod, which is the reward for this task—creating a bit of a paradox. However, there is a way to complete this task:
How to Get a Gravy Turkey:
- Trade with a friend or player who already has the Cornucopia Rod.
- Use Fischgiving baits that can trigger the Gravy mutation. They drop from Bountiful Bait Crates, which can be obtained from fishing during the event or by completing turkey quests.
Baits that Grant Gravy Mutation:
- Pumpkin Pieces
- Gourd Bites
- Cranberry Cluster

How to Get the Cornucopia Rod in Fisch
By completing the final, sixth task of the Pilgrim, you will receive the Cornucopia rod as a reward—the main prize of the Fisch Fischgiving event.

Cornucopia Rod Stats
Stat | Value |
Lure Speed | 90% |
Luck | 112.7% |
Control | 0.05 |
Resilience | 75% |
Max Kg | 250,000 kg |
The Cornucopia rod has a chance to apply the Gravy mutation to any caught fish, increasing its sale price by eight times. Occasionally, it triggers a Pumpkin Storm, which speeds up progress and helps reel in heavier catches.
Best Enchants for the Cornucopia Rod
Since the base stats are skewed towards Luck and Lure Speed, the best enchants are those that compensate for low Control or add useful bonuses.
Recommended Enchants for Cornucopia Rod:
- Herculean: +25,000 Max Kg, +0.2 Control, +10% Progress Speed
- Controlled: +0.15 Control
- Mystical: +25% Luck, +45% Resilience, +15% Lure Speed, +10% Progress Speed
These enchants perfectly balance the rod's weaknesses and allow you to fully utilize its passive.
