CoD Warzone: Floating Doors Easter Egg Guide

A new Easter egg quest called "Floating Doors" has appeared in Call of Duty: Warzone. This mysterious challenge not only pays homage to some of the game’s old visual glitches but also gives players access to valuable loot early in the match. Below is a step-by-step breakdown of how to complete the quest.

Landing at the Prison

Start the match by dropping into the Prison area on the Verdansk map. It’s best to descend into the lower levels of the building, where the sewers and shower rooms are located — this is where you’ll need to find a key item.

Finding the Door Document

Inside the prison, there are several potential spawn points for a sheet of paper featuring eight illustrated doors. This document often appears near pipes, inside cells, or in the shower area. It shows eight doors, five of which are marked with red circles of varying sizes. This serves as a clue for the next step, so it’s recommended to take a screenshot or memorize the order and sizes of the circles.

Moving to Sector I8

Once you’ve collected the document, head to zone I8, located just south of the prison, near the water. In the air above this area, you’ll see eight floating doors — they’re the key to the next stage of the puzzle.

Shooting the Doors

Using the paper clue from the prison as your guide, shoot five out of the eight doors in the order indicated by the increasing sizes of the red circles — from smallest to largest. If you hit the correct door, a distinctive sound will play. If you make a mistake, wait a few seconds for the doors to stop spinning, then try again.

Receiving the Reward

After successfully shooting the five correct doors in order, the floating doors will vanish, and a supply drop marker will appear on the map. A few seconds later, a loot crate will fall from the sky — it may contain weapons, ammo, cash, a UAV, a Precision Airstrike, or other rare items.

Additional Tips

  • The door document doesn’t spawn in every match, so you might need multiple attempts.
  • The quest can be completed in both Battle Royale and Plunder modes.
  • It’s best to do this quest with a teammate — one player can stay at the prison to capture the clue, while the other rushes to the doors.

Floating Doors is a fun and unconventional challenge that adds variety to the Warzone gameplay. Completing it will give you a significant edge over other players early in the match.
