Battlefield 6 makes use of different kinds of guns: semi-automatic and sniper rifles, light machine guns, carbines, army rifles, and even shotguns. Choice of weapon serves the purpose of influencing victory and loss of war, so the ranks are consequently always rewritten after patches and feedback by the user.
S-Tier
M87A1 (Shotgun)
Useful for close combat, delivers massive damage at very short range, often killing with a single hit to the body or head. Perfect for clearing rooms and narrow corridors where fast aggression is needed. Pros — maximum DPS at close range and simple aiming mechanics; cons — very short effective range, slow reload and recovery between shots.

Cord 6P67
A versatile and aggressive weapon with excellent time-to-kill at close and medium ranges, with controllable recoil when equipped with proper attachments. Suitable for players who like to pressure the enemy and move frequently around the map. Advantages — fast TTK and flexibility; limitations — weaker at long range and requires skill in recoil control for long bursts.

M4A1
Balanced weapon for the majority of scenarios satisfactory rate of fire, manageable, and average distance. Best suited for players, who are looking for just one solid rifle of the “all-purpose” type. Advantages lightweight and much useful tuning possibilities; disadvantages not the best for any narrow specialization, so occasionally falls behind specialized rivals.

A-Tier

NVO-228E
Accurate and stable, best used with controlled fire in short or single bursts. Strengths — predictable recoil and good medium-range accuracy; limitations — less effective in close-quarters combat compared to SMGs/carbines.

M417 A2
High precision at medium and long ranges; an excellent choice for players who can control recoil and shoot single shots. Pros — accuracy and stability; cons — weaker in close combat.

KTS100 MK8
Large ammo capacity and capable of sustained fire to hold positions. Pros — endurance in firefights and enemy suppression; cons — low mobility and slow aiming.

SCW 10
A versatile assault rifle with a good combination of stability, rate of fire, and controllable recoil. Suitable for medium-range engagements and players who prefer a balanced playstyle.

B-Tier
B36A4, M433, and SGX are still playable but fall behind best models by a margin of stability or damage. They are well suited for new players or for special jobs.
Currently, the most effective weapons in Battlefield 6 are considered to be the combination of M4A1, M87A1, AK-205, PW7A2, M2010 ESR, and Cord 6P67. Strong but situational weapons include NVO-228E, M417 A2, KTS100 MK8, and SCW 10.
