Teamfight Tactics Patch TFT14.4 Notes

Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.4 is here, and it’s a big one. Riot Games is continuing to fine-tune Cyber City with a major overhaul of loot, trait adjustments, new Hacked mechanics, and changes to powerful comps like Strategist Brand and Twisted Fate. Add to that the long-awaited Revival: Remix Rumble, and this patch sets the stage for one of the most diverse metas of the set.

Revival: Remix Rumble Returns

From May 14 through July 29, TFT brings back its most musical event with the return of Remix Rumble. This Revival event features a refreshed lineup with K/DA, True Damage, Pentakill, DJ Sona, Heartsteel, Jazz Bard, and Maestro Jhin. The Headliner mechanic makes its comeback alongside new Augments and Opening Encounters. Cyber City Hacks will mix in with this musical madness, giving players more ways to remix their gameplay.

Updated bag sizes make unit rolling more dynamic:

  • 1-costs: 50 copies
  • 2-costs: 40 copies
  • 3-costs: 30 copies
  • 4-costs: 12 copies
  • 5-costs: 10 copies

There are also new Augments, opening encounters, and additional Cyber City Hacks included in the revival.

Cosmetic Tier Overhaul Coming in Patch 14.5

Though not active with this patch, Riot has announced that TFT Patch 14.5 will simplify cosmetic rarity tiers. Rare and Epic Little Legends will be folded into a new “Standard” tier. Non-upgradable Little Legends and Booms will now be categorized as three-star content. This update aims to make cosmetic purchases and collections more intuitive.

Systems Update: Loot, Golems & Eggs

PVE loot is being dialed back slightly. While you’ll still get meaningful drops, players will generally see about one fewer item component per game, especially in events like Scuttle Puddle and Crab Rave, which have had their over-the-top loot trimmed down.

Black Market Augments will now appear more often at 2-1, increasing your chances of landing some of the most exciting (and chaotic) Hacks in the game.

Say goodbye to the underwhelming Gold Generator Golem. Replacing it is the all-new RNGolem, which comes equipped with a random Emblem, Artifact, and Radiant item. It’s high risk, high reward, potentially game-breaking or board-shattering, depending on your luck.

In the Egg department, Riot is removing one of the worst-performing 13-turn eggs while buffing another, creating more consistency in high-risk choices.
