Valve reassured everyone concerned about in-game cosmetic items, confirming that the CS:GO inventory will be transferred to the new version of the game and old skins will also be improved by improving the resolution. Such news led to an increase in prices on the Steam trading platform and third-party services. Later, the initial hype died down, but individual skins only continued to grow in price, which can turn them into an asset for investors who want to make money on CS2.
Changing the lighting and improving the textures of weapons with the transition to Source 2 significantly increased the value of some skins. Based on references to one or another metal, some of them logically acquired a shiny surface that shimmers in the sun's rays. Some were transformed in the same way based on other factors.
