Update as of 12:00 CEST: Virtus.pro has confirmed their Dota 2 roster's participation in the open qualifiers for The International 2025 in the Western Europe region. The team initially planned to compete in this region considering the bootcamp location and players' residences.
Georgiy "drAmer" Faleev, head of the Dota division at Virtus.pro, commented on the decision:
"We initially based our plans on MESWA being part of Western Europe, intended to play in this region, and scheduled our bootcamp accordingly. The distribution of invites only accelerated our announcement. Moreover, three of our five players reside in Western Europe, and we see no obstacles to following our planned path and competing in the WEU region, even from the open qualifiers."Georgiy "drAmer" Faleev
