Every year, as The International, the largest Dota 2 tournament, approaches, the community's attention is focused on the qualifiers that determine the fate of teams from around the world. For many teams, it's a chance to not only enter the main Dota 2 arena but also change the course of their careers, while for others, it's a test to see if they can match the level of the world's best. In this article, we will talk about everything that happened at the ti qualifiers 2024.
How to qualify for The International?
All regional qualifications are divided into 6 regions such as:
- South America
- North America
- Eastern Europe
- Western Europe
- China
- South East Asia
In each region, the qualifications consist of two stages:
Open qualifiers - These are two consecutive qualifications with a Single-elimination format. From each of these two qualifiers, from 1 to 4 best teams get to the closed qualifiers, depending on the region.
Closed Qualifiers - The final stage of dota 2 TI qualifiers. The teams that have passed the open qualifiers are already waiting for other teams that were lucky enough to receive a direct invitation, the number of teams also depends on the region of the qualifiers. It is at this stage that it is decided who will go to The International.

South America
From the first open qualification to the closed stage, the following teams have made it through:

North America

The last obstacle between the teams and The International was the closed qualifiers, and here is the team that emerged victorious from this battle:

Western Europe
Dota 2 WeU TI qualifiers has only on 2 slots on open stage (one for each qualification) were played out in the open qualifiers. Let's see who won the first qualification:
