On January 24th, the team Nigma Galaxy announced changes to their roster for BLAST Slam II. Instead of Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, Daniel Chan “Ghost” Kok Hong will play in the championship. The announcement was made on the team's official account on the social network X.
Ghost, known for his performances with Xtreme Gaming, will join Nigma Galaxy to participate in BLAST Slam II. The player is celebrated for his ability to adapt to various playstyles, which could provide the team with tactical flexibility. Ghost already assisted Nigma Galaxy as a stand-in during the summer of 2024 and was on a trial period with BOOM Esports throughout the year. Nigma Galaxy's first game with Ghost will take place on February 4th.
BLAST Slam II will be held from February 4th to 9th in Copenhagen, Denmark. 10 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000. You can find all the information about the tournament at this link.
