At the end of the first day of play at FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1, the teams played 16 matches, resulting in some teams ready to fight for a playoff spot in the next round, while others will battle for survival. The first day was filled with unexpected results.

First Round Results

The first round was a real test for the event favorites. Several top teams began the tournament with losses:

• Gaimin Gladiators lost to Talon, despite being playoff contenders.
• Tundra unexpectedly lost to Yakult’s Brothers, surprising fans.
• PARIVISION were defeated by Aurora, who confidently began their tournament journey.

Meanwhile, Team Spirit and Liquid started off with victories, confirming their ambitions for this season.

Second Round Results

In the second round, the battle for playoff spots continued. Among the most interesting matches:

• Liquid confidently defeated Talon, securing a 2-0 record.
• Spirit beat Yakult’s Brothers, maintaining a perfect score at the end of the first day.
• Gladiators and Tundra, who started the tournament with losses, returned to winning ways by defeating Xtreme Gaming and Shopify Rebellion respectively.

In one of the last matches of round 2, Falcons managed to overcome AVULUS ending the day  with a 1:1 record. HEROIC defeated Aurora, now also holding a 2-0 record.

Tomorrow's Team Matches

The third round of the group stage will offer viewers four key matches in bo3 format — for a playoff spot and elimination from the tournament, as well as four bo1 matches between teams with a 1-1 record.

FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 will take place from January 24 to February 2 in Belgrade, Serbia. 16 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000. You can find all the information about the tournament at this link.
