Television Academy har annonceret den fulde liste over nominerede til den 77. Primetime Emmy Awards-ceremoni, og HBO-serien The Last of Us, baseret på den ikoniske videospilserie af samme navn, har igen taget centrum, sikret sig tre nøgle-nomineringer og bekræftet sin status som et af årets bedste dramatiske projekter.

Den post-apokalyptiske serie opnåede i alt 16 nomineringer, herunder i tre store kategorier: "Outstanding Drama Series", "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series" (Pedro Pascal), og "Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series" (Ali Abbasi for episoden "Kin").

Meddelelsen blev gjort under en live-udsendelse den 15. juli, vært af Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) og Brenda Song (Running Point). Den fulde liste over nominerede peger på en af de mest intense prisuddelingskampe i de seneste år, da både favoritter fra tidligere sæsoner og nye kritikerroste projekter konkurrerer.

I spidsen for dette års nomineringer er Severance fra Apple TV+, som samlet 27 nomineringer — flest af nogen serie. Herefter følger The Penguin (24 nomineringer), mens The White Lotus og The Studio deler tredjepladsen med 23 nomineringer hver. Andre favoritter inkluderer Andor (14 nomineringer), The Bear, og Adolescence (13 hver).

Blandt de mest bemærkelsesværdige begivenheder er den første nogensinde nominering for den legendariske skuespiller Harrison Ford, som, i en alder af 83, kom på listen over nominerede for en birolle i komedien Shrinking. Sammen med ham skrev 15-årige Owen Cooper fra Adolescence historie som den yngste skuespiller nogensinde nomineret til en Emmy.

Nomineringerne blev sendt live fra Saban Media Center i Los Angeles. Listen blev annonceret af skuespillerne Brenda Song (Running Point) og Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) sammen med Television Academy Chairman Chris Abrego. Dette års ceremoni fejrer TV-projekter, der blev sendt fra 1. juni 2024 til 31. maj 2025.
