ZywOo wins MVP of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025

Team Vitality continue their incredible 2025 season by winning their fifth title of the year at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, beating Falcons 3:2 in an exciting best-of-five final. The team earned $125,000, while the runner-ups Falcons took home $75,000. This victory also extended Vitality's amazing win streak to 25 consecutive matches, proving once again they are the best CS2 team in the world right now.

With this win, Vitality have now claimed five major trophies since Robin "ropz" Kool joined the lineup:

  • IEM Katowice 2025
  • ESL Pro League Season 21
  • BLAST Open Spring 2025
  • IEM Melbourne 2025
  • BLAST Rivals Spring 2025

Even though the next big event, PGL Astana 2025, is just around the corner (May 10–18, $1,250,000 prize pool), Vitality and Falcons will not be attending, choosing instead to rest and prepare for other key tournaments. Astana will still feature top-tier teams such as Spirit and NAVI.

MVP: Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut

Once again, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut has shown why many people consider him the best CS2 player in the world. He has earned the MVP award at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, his fifth MVP title this year alone. That makes five MVPs in five different events — an unbelievable level of consistency.

ZywOo started the tournament a bit slow but hit his peak exactly when his team needed it most — in the grand final. He was unstoppable on the last maps and helped close out the series against Falcons in style.

Ratings:

  • 6.7 vs Wildcard
  • 6.9 vs MOUZ
  • 7.3 vs Spirit (semifinal)
  • 7.2 vs Falcons (final)
  • Kills per round: 0.81
  • ADR (Average Damage per Round): 87
  • Overall Rating: 7.0

This event once again proves that ZywOo isn't just about stats. He shows up in the biggest matches and delivers when it matters the most.

EVPs (Exceptionally Valuable Players)

Danil "donk" Kryshkovets (Spirit)

  • Rating: 7.3

Donk keeps performing at a top level, no matter the result. Spirit, however, still can’t find the breakthrough they need. After more than a month of rest, they were crushed by Vitality and Falcons — teams that had much less time to recover after IEM Melbourne. donk did his part, but Spirit’s struggles continue.

Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov (Falcons)

  • Rating: 7.0

This is only m0NESY’s second event with Falcons, and once again he reached the final. He is showing incredible consistency and skill. Even when the team struggles, m0NESY finds a way to keep them alive. He is the engine of Falcons and their most valuable player so far.

Dorian "xertioN" Berman (MOUZ)

  • Rating: 6.8

XertioN played well and had solid numbers throughout the tournament. But this was a studio event with less pressure, and MOUZ didn’t impress overall. Their only wins came against paiN and FaZe, and they didn’t look competitive against stronger teams.

Robin "ropz" Kool (Vitality)

  • Rating: 6.5

Another amazing event from ropz, who continues to deliver MVP-level performances. In the final map of the grand final, he completely took over and carried Vitality to the trophy. His smart, calm play makes him one of the most reliable players in the world. It’s no surprise Vitality keep winning with him on the team.

Final Thoughts

Vitality are now on 25 straight wins and have five trophies in their cabinet for 2025. With ZywOo and ropz leading the way, and players like Shahar "flameZ" Shushan and William "mezii" Merriman supporting perfectly, this roster looks unbeatable.

Falcons continue to impress after signing m0NESY. They once again pushed Vitality to five maps in the final and are clearly one of the best teams in the world. If they keep playing like this, their own trophies will come soon.

As Vitality and Falcons take a break, all eyes turn to PGL Astana 2025, where teams like Spirit and NAVI will try to claim their share of the spotlight. But one thing is clear: Vitality are the team to beat in 2025, and ZywOo is still the king of Counter-Strike.
