Vitality continues to dominate the CS2 scene! The French organization won their third big tournament of 2025 by defeating MOUZ 3-2 in the grand final of BLAST Open Spring 2025. It was a close match, but Vitality held strong and came out on top once again. This win adds to their victories at IEM Katowice 2025 and ESL Pro League Season 21, showing their consistency and strength. Vitality earned $150,000 for first place, while MOUZ received $60,000. The next big tournament is PGL Bucharest 2025, which starts on April 6 and has a massive $1,250,000 prize pool. However, both Vitality and MOUZ will skip that event.
ZywOo – MVP, once again
Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut proved once more that he’s the best player in the world right now. He won his third MVP award of the year and was key to Vitality’s victory. He had one of the most consistent performances of the event. Even when his team was struggling, ZywOo delivered.
ZywOo’s Ratings at BLAST Open Spring 2025:
- vs. Astralis – 6.8
- vs. Virtus.pro – 8.0
- vs. MOUZ (First Match) – 7.5
- vs. Spirit (Semifinals) – 7.3
- vs. MOUZ (Finals) – 7.4
ZywOo’s worst match was still excellent, with a 6.8 rating. His final rating turned out to be 7.3, which is another masterclass from the Frenchman.

Exceptional performers (EVPs)
ZywOo was the star of the tournament, but several other players stood out with great performances. Here are the top EVPs from BLAST Open Spring 2025:

Danil "donk" Kryshkovets (Rating: 7.4)

Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov (Rating: 6.9)
sh1ro was rock-solid for Spirit. His AWPing was on point, and his stats were better than at ESL Pro League. He kept Spirit competitive in every game and continues to be one of the best support AWPers in CS2.

Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın (Rating: 6.7)
Wicadia stepped up for Eternal Fire. He started the year slowly but found great form at this event. When İsmailсan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş underperformed, Wicadia took over. His sharp aim and smart plays helped Eternal Fire reach the semifinals and the fifth playoffs in a row.

Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás (Rating: 6.3)
torzsi was once again a key player for MOUZ. He has been their most consistent performer throughout the year, and at BLAST Open Spring 2025, he stepped up when it mattered most. In the playoffs, he totally carried the team, especially in the match against Eternal Fire where he had a 7.1 rating while his teammates struggled. His CT-side play was a huge reason why MOUZ made it all the way to the grand final. Right now, torzsi is proving to be one of the best defensive players in CS2.

Vitality’s Golden Run
This win marks three titles in a row for Vitality. With ZywOo playing at his peak and Robin "ropz" Kool and Shahar "flameZ" Shushan backing him up, the team looks unbeatable. They’ve now won IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League, and BLAST Open in just three months. Their chemistry and confidence are unmatched.
Even more impressive: they have defeated strong teams like MOUZ, Spirit, and VP across all events. Their teamwork and individual skill are making them one of the greatest rosters in CS history.

What’s Next?
The next big tournament is PGL Bucharest 2025, starting April 6. It’s the biggest event so far this year, with $1.25 million up for grabs. But Vitality and MOUZ will both be skipping it, giving teams like FaZe, G2, Falcons, and Liquid a chance to shine. Without Vitality in the tournament, the race for the next title is wide open. But one thing is clear—when they return, they’ll still be the team to beat.
