Today, having a photo mode in visually stunning games is a must-have for developers. Even if this feature isn't available at the game's launch, fans eagerly request its addition in future updates. This was the case with Stellar Blade at one point. However, now PC owners can also showcase their interesting photos and angles with EVE.

How to Enable Standard Photo Mode in Stellar Blade

The standard photo mode doesn't require completing quests or fulfilling special conditions to use. This mode appeared in the game after one of the earlier updates and is now available immediately. To enter the photo mode in Stellar Blade:

• Open the pause menu.
• Go to Settings
• Scroll to the Photo Mode section
• Press Enter Photo Mode

Alternatively, during the game, press the appropriate buttons on the controller or keyboard (check in the control settings) to instantly activate the mode.

In this mode, you can change camera angles, apply filters, adjust lighting, and choose which characters will be in the frame. It's a convenient way to create atmospheric or artistic shots and share them online.

How to Unlock Selfie Mode in Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade offers another photo mode, specifically the selfie mode, which is unlocked through a small quest. This mode gives you a camera that EVE can carry to take selfies.

To unlock it, head to Xion, one of the main hubs in the game. In Xion, find the Bulletin Board located on the eastern side of the city, near a narrow alley. On the board, there will be a quest titled Photography Club. Accept it to start the process.

After activating the task, you will receive an in-game camera. Open the tool menu and select the camera. You will now have access to the selfie functionality.

About the Photography Club Quest

The Photography Club quest asks you to recreate a specific photo stored in the Data Bank under the Photography Challenge section. The snapshot is in the Memories of Xion album. The task is to find the location where this photo was taken. It refers to the globe statue in the northern part of Xion.

When you reach the location, activate the camera and enter selfie mode. You need to recreate the angle from the original photo. If you are standing in the right spot and frame the image correctly, a green square with a circle in the middle will appear. When the circle fills up, the photo will be successfully registered.

After that, return to the Bulletin Board and complete the task. This will permanently unlock Selfie Mode and reward you with the FourSeconds Everyday Wear costume for EVE.

How to Use the Camera and Photo Mode Features

Once the camera is unlocked, using it becomes simple and convenient. At any time, press the appropriate buttons to activate selfie mode. A settings menu will appear in the lower right corner of the screen.

Here, you can adjust brightness and lighting, tilt the camera, regulate depth of field, and apply various filters. EVE can also use a large number of poses and expressions, allowing you to create both entertaining and cinematic scenes. If companions are nearby, they automatically react to the camera—no additional actions are required.

When the shot is ready, press the capture button to save the image.

Photos Not Saving in Stellar Blade

If while using photo mode in Stellar Blade you notice that your photos are not saving or you can't find them, here's a tip.

Photos from Stellar Blade's photo mode are saved in the root folder of the game at the following path:

If you are taking screenshots during the game and they are not saving, you might be missing the Screenshots folder. Create it manually, which should resolve the issue and photos will be saved there.
