Dota 2 richest teams are basically a history lesson with prize money attached. TI wins still decide most of the list, but Majors, Riyadh Masters, EWC, and other big LANs helped move teams around the top ten.
As of August 1, 2026, OG are still first with $37.4 million in Dota 2 prize money. Team Liquid and Team Spirit are close enough to make the race interesting, but OG’s TI8 and TI9 run is still doing most of the work. The ranking is based on Esports Earnings’ Dota 2 team leaderboard.
#10. Virtus.pro
Virtus.pro are tenth with $12,225,093.59. They never won TI, but their old DPC peak was strong enough to keep them in the top ten.
VP were monsters at their best. They won Majors, crushed regular seasons, and always looked like a team that could finally do it at TI. That part never happened, and it is still the one hole in their legacy.

Their closest shot was TI4, where they reached the final and lost to Newbee. After that, Vici kept stacking strong results at Majors and big LANs. No Aegis, but plenty of proof that they belonged near the top.

The later years got ugly, but the peak still counts. Newbee were one of the biggest Chinese teams of the mid-2010s, and not many organizations can say they won TI and made another TI grand final.

Before The International 2022, Tundra were a strong European team. After it, they were Aegis winners. Their run was clean, controlled, and honestly one of the most one-sided TI wins of the modern era. Later titles helped, but TI11 is the reason they sit this high.

That roster came painfully close to the Aegis more than once. Two TI finals, Riyadh Masters 2022, AniMajor, Arlington Major final — the money makes sense. The only confusing part is the name, because LGD Gaming is counted separately outside the top ten.

Secret were always around. Different rosters, different metas, but Puppey kept building teams that won Majors and reached late stages. The TI2022 final was the closest they came to the Aegis. They missed it, but the years of results before and after are why they stay this high.

EG were more than one famous SumaiL tournament, though. They kept reaching TI podiums, stayed dangerous for years, and became the default NA giant. Even after leaving Dota 2, their spot in this ranking is not going anywhere soon.

TI10 started the run, but Spirit did not cash out and disappear. They won another TI, took Riyadh Masters 2023, DreamLeague Season 21, PGL Wallachia Season 1, and EWC 2025. At this point, calling it one miracle run makes no sense. It is a full era.

#2. Team Liquid
Team Liquid are second with $32,847,105.10. Their case is simple: they just keep coming back with strong rosters.
Liquid won TI7, reached the TI9 final, and won TI again in 2024. That is rare longevity. Many organizations have one great roster. Liquid have had several, and that is why Spirit still have not passed them.

#1. OG
OG are still first with $37,419,145.63. There is no mystery here: TI8 and TI9.
Nobody else has won back-to-back Internationals, and nobody else got that kind of prize-money jump in two straight years. Before that, OG had already won four Valve Majors, so the foundation was strong even before the Aegis run.
Modern OG are nowhere near that level, but this ranking is about history. And in Dota 2 prize money history, OG still own the top spot.

Why the Race Is Still Open
OG are first, but the lead is not untouchable anymore. Liquid are close, and Spirit are the team with the clearest momentum.
The old TI era built this leaderboard. The next few seasons will show whether modern prize pools are enough to finally shake up the top three.
