How to Play Haze

When playing as Haze, you need to endure and farm during the first 10-15 minutes of the game to get your initial items and start contributing meaningfully. On the lane, you won’t have many options, so try to last-hit minions as efficiently as possible and avoid taking unnecessary risks. If you see an opportunity for a guaranteed kill without dying yourself, take it. Once you’ve gathered the necessary resources and your ultimate, you can start looking for opportunities using your invisibility. Remember that your ultimate can easily be interrupted by crowd control, and each mistake that leads to your death is critical for such a snowball-dependent hero.

You need to apply pressure across the entire map with your invisibility—your enemies will be genuinely confused and scared to even push waves. Haze is a very aggressive hero, so you constantly need to be thinking about enemy positioning and where they will be moving in the next few minutes. The assassin playstyle means that you can quickly pick off a target and escape safely. Always be on the lookout for potential kills. It only takes 2-3 eliminations to make your enemies fear you constantly, giving you and your team a lot of room to maneuver.

From the mid to late game, ask your allies to help you secure objectives or punish enemies who are out of position. In team fights, calmly observe and wait for opponents to use their crowd control abilities. Once that happens, you’ll be unstoppable.

Conclusion

Haze is an extremely powerful assassin, capable of snowballing and controlling the pace of the game with her invisibility and high burst damage. However, mastering her requires good game knowledge and precision. Her weak early game means you need to farm carefully while avoiding unnecessary risks, but once you’ve gathered key items, you can dominate the map by applying pressure and picking off targets.

Her ultimate Bullet Dance can turn the tide in team fights if used wisely, but beware of crowd control from enemies like Bebop and Kelvin, who can disrupt her gameplay. With the right build, map awareness, and coordination with teammates, Haze becomes an unstoppable force, providing immense value in both solo kills and team fights.
