The time has come for the final results of 2022. This time, Cover.gg has prepared the list of the top 10 best M4A1 players of the past year. It's one of the tops where no superstars are on the list.
When compiling the top 10 best players with M4A1, we focused on the statistics of players exclusively for tier-1 competitions and with M4A1: at least 90 matches played in tier-1 championships, the average number of kills and the average amount of damage per round with M4A1. We announced the top 20 esports athletes in CS:GO for 2022. You can read more about it here.
#10. Nemanja HuNter Kovac
The very faded performance of G2 Esports throughout 2022 was also reflected in huNter's indicators. The Bosnian esports athlete averaged 0.216 kills and dealt an average of 20.57 damage per round with the M4A1. It's mediocre statistics for a player of this level.
#9. Peter Dupreeh Rasmussen
In 2022, various analysts sent Dupreeh to retirement. Still, the Dane continues to fight and strives to get into proper playing form. His averages are 0.220 kills and 21.67 damage per round from the M4A1. Unfortunately, Rasmussen will not be able to dominate only due to his experience anymore. The younger generation is starting to breathe down his back.
#8. Lotan Spinx Giladi
Unlike the two representatives mentioned above of our top, Spinx demonstrates significant progress, both in shooting and tactical terms. At first, the Israeli professional CS:GO player stood out against his ENCE teammates. Then he fits in perfectly with Team Vitality. Giladi averaged 0.224 kills and dealt 22.45 damage per round with the M4A1. In 2023, we expect to see a continuation of his progress.
#7. Rasmus sjuush Beck
During two years in Heroic sjuush became its integral part, and the contract's extension until 2024 only confirms that. In addition to the harmony with teammates, Beck performs very consistently at the tier-1 level. The Danish player shoots exceptionally well from the M4A1 — averaging 0.226 kills and 22.72 damage per round. By cybersport standards, he may not be the youngest, but he is stable, which is a massive advantage over other peers.
#6. Pawel dycha Dycha
Dycha is one of those who pulled ENCE to the top throughout the year. As a result, they got second place at ESL Pro League Season 15 and IEM Dallas 2022, as well as 3-4 position at PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Average kills and damage per round from M4A1 are 0.237 and 24.16, respectively.
#5. Hampus hampus Poser
Despite another unremarkable season of Ninjas in Pajamas, hampus looked very confident. As a result, he was able to climb to fifth place at the top of the best players with M4A1. On average, the Swedish esports athlete made 0.235 kills and inflicted 24.64 damage per round. Will Poser be able to help NiP demonstrate the best results in 2023? It's a mystery. The club is still looking for ideal players for its team.
#4. Pavle Maden Boskovic
Another representative of ENCE, maden, was placed on the fourth line. The Montenegrin cyber sportsman's first year in the organization can be called very successful. Excellent individual performance and prizes in the best tournaments are not given to anyone just like that - it results from hard work in training. Boskovic averaged 25.61 damage and 0.245 kills per round with the M4A1. Well played!
#3. Jonathan EliGE Jablonowski
EliGE opens the top three players of 2022 with M4A1. The American professional player in CS:GO, as well as Team Liquid as a whole, got a second wind after Marek YEKINDAR Galinskys joined the team. Second place in ESL Pro League Season 16 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, as well as 3-4 position in BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, which is all with the updated lineup. Individually, Jablonowski also picked up: 0.255 average kills and 26.50 average damage per round from the M4A1.
I think that YEKINDAR helped us a lot, not only with working on the structure but also with improving individual performance. He gave me more confidence.
#2. Emil Magisk Raif
Magisk won only one trophy with Team Vitality in 2022, ESL Pro League Season 16, but that didn't stop him from showing one of the best stats among M4A1 players. The Danish cyber sportsman has 0.256 average kills and 26.51 average damage per round. Raif was ahead of the previous top member by only a hundredth of each indicator. Still, this is an advantage in any case.
#1. Havard rain Nygaard
And here is the best player of 2022 with M4A1 — rain. The incredible performance of FaZe Clan throughout the season could not affect the individual form of the Norwegian player. Nygard was able to average 0.272 kills and 27.94 damage per round with the M4A1. Rain proves that even at the age of 28, it is possible to play at the highest level and demonstrate incredible statistics. Thus, Nygard deservedly became the best counter-terrorist in 2022!
Every self-respecting counter-terrorist must master the M4A1. Otherwise, why did he embark on this path? This rifle is of particular interest to professional players in CS:GO. Of course, the competition is not as big as in the AK-47, but becoming the best at playing with the M4A1 is also a very tempting achievement.
