Prediction for the Monte vs FORZE match - who will make it to the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023?

In an exclusive comment for Cover.gg, Fedir KvaN Zakharov evaluated the game of the Ukrainian club against Heroic and made a prediction for the upcoming match.

Second attempt for Monte

Monte has already missed one chance to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 by losing in the third round to Heroic. The level of play from the Ukrainian team against ENCE and Cloud9 looked very promising, but they were unable to beat the Danes. There was a noticeable lack of experience in playing at tier-1 competitions among some of the esports players, but the skill gap is not significant.

The promising fact is that even in the lost match, Muhammad BOROS Malhas and Sergiy DemQQ Demchenko became some of the best players on the server. The Jordanian professional player is currently in the top 5 players of the tournament.

Unfortunately, the results of both maps [against Heroic] were predetermined in the first halves. 12-3 on Mirage, and it's tough for any tier-1 team to come back against Heroic, but there was still a comeback. They gave away 9 attacks on Overpass and now they need an attack level like NAVI in their best years. They just need more practice at good tournaments with good teams.

Chance for FORZE

FORZE started their performance in the RMR with a loss to Cloud9. Later on, the team was able to regroup and defeat ENCE and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Recently, the team led by Andrey Jerry Mezheritsky won first place in Group D and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ESL Pro League Season 17. So FORZE didn't just come to the championship to pass the time, they came for the result. If Jerry and his teammates don't take advantage of this chance to advance now, it will only get more difficult from here.

In this matchup, Monte should take the spot. Firstly, they had tougher opponents and closer results. Secondly, on March 24th they already beat FORZE 2-0. Thirdly, FORZE brought Inferno and Anubis, the former map is in the permanent ban, and Monte is good on the second one.
