All the listed teams belong to the Pacific region and were unable to secure one of the 3 prize places in the previous Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League, where 3 invitations to the World Championship were contested. Now they will fight each other for 6 days for the right to receive the last invite to the upcoming Valorant Champions 2023. The main favorites of the tournament can be named ZETA DIVISION, the Japanese team is currently top-2 among teams in Japan, and showed great performance at the past VCT 2023 Pacific League, where they defeated most of their future opponents.

The first day of the competition will showcase a match between the Japanese team DetonatioN FocusMe and the favorites from Thailand - Talon Esports. The teams have only met once before, in the 8th week of the Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League - Regular Season, when Talon Esports easily defeated their future opponents 2-0. Despite this, both teams showed poor results at the past VCT 2023 Pacific League, where DetonatioN FocusMe finished the season in 10th place, and Talon Esports in 9th. What is the Last Chance Qualifier?

The Last Chance Qualifier is the last opportunity for teams to get into the main event of the year in the Valorant Champions discipline. This year, the LCQ is being held in 4 regions, with 1 to 3 spots allocated for the World Championship: Americas with 1 invitation, EMEA with 2, Pacific with 1, and the new region China with 3 invitations. The tournament will feature 16 teams from various parts of the world, who will fight for a large prize pool and the champion title.
