Patch Y10S2.3: DUAL FRONT Updates and Key Fixes

Ubisoft has released patch Y10S2.3 for Rainbow Six Siege, featuring an update to the Dual Front map, changes in operators, and the resolution of several critical bugs. The main changes involve the roster of available characters, gameplay fixes, and user interface improvements. Dual Front Map Updates:

  • Added operators: Nokk, Jager, and Aruni.
  • Removed operators: Bandit, Vigil, and Castle.

Gameplay Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue preventing the use of rappel on the B3 Exterior wall (Dual Front).
  • Resolved a bug that allowed attackers to rappel through the roof on the Outback map.
  • Fixed a bug where using Castle panels could cause a match crash.

User Interface and Experience:

  • Equip and Favorite buttons now display when viewing the victory celebration animation.
  • The reload UI no longer appears for the entire round when canceling the reload animation.
  • Fixed a bug with automatically equipping full elite sets (Inspiration, Panzerstarke, MTG MK.II) after selecting elite skins during the preparation phase.
  • First phase bans now display when connecting to a match in the second phase in the Custom Pro League Playlist mode.
  • Fixed the display of surfaces and hatches on the first floor in Caster Cam.

Audio:

  • Restored sound effects when breaking the kitchen floor on 2F (Dual Front).
  • Fixed sounds related to drone destruction.
