Ubisoft has announced the first change in nearly a decade to the credit pricing in Rainbow Six Siege. Starting June 10, players will encounter a revised pack system—some will be removed, while others will offer less for the same price.
The $20 and $35 packs will be removed, and a new $25 pack with 3300 credits will take their place. The $50 pack will now contain 7200 credits (down from 7560), and the $100 pack will have 15,000 (down from 16,000). The $5 and $10 packages will remain unchanged.
Ubisoft claims that the changes are minimal and aimed at supporting the game's quality in the long run. However, players might perceive the reduction in credits for the same price as a hidden price increase.
As a bonus, during the second season of Year 10, the Premier Pack will be available—a one-time purchase for $20, which includes 3300 credits and exclusive cosmetic items.
