Patch Y10S4.1 in Rainbow Six Siege Removes Limb Damage Reduction

In Rainbow Six Siege, the Y10S4.1 update is set to shake up the meta. The main change is the removal of limb damage reduction, which was introduced several seasons ago. Ubisoft's decision is directly linked to player feedback, as the previous adjustment was seen as overly softening the combat and diminishing skill shots.

Y10S4.1 Update Details

The patch will be released today, December 11, at 4:00 PM Central European Time. Before the release, from 3:00 PM, the servers will be unavailable due to maintenance. In addition to balance changes, the update includes a substantial list of fixes. It addresses errors that hindered movement and interaction with objects, operator gadget bugs, crashes on certain maps, and interface issues on consoles.

Key fixes include resolving a bug where Mute could block Fuze's charge, restoring the proper function of Solis's sensor, and fixing problems with invisible enemy outlines. Developers also eliminated a crash that occurred when using the PMR90A2 weapon without unlocking it and improved the stability of the Dual Front mode.

Y10S4.1 is not just a technical update but a symbol that Ubisoft truly listens to the community. The return to more hardcore mechanics, improved stability, and the correction of annoying bugs all confirm that Siege continues to evolve, maintaining a balance between new approaches and respect for the game's roots.
